Once Resson believed he was suitably out of range of all the chaos going on in their previous location, he immediately collapses onto his knees, holding his stomach. "...Too hungry... damn it all." He scanned the canopy above for any sort of fruits he could snack on to satiate his hunger - he'd have much rather had some meat, but he'd have to make do with what he could find. After a moment of scanning, he spied a high branch with a few dollops of fruit hanging off. He immediately shot the entire branch off of the tree with his pocket-device, allowing it to crash to the ground in front of him. He picked the fruit off the branch and began to devour it hastily. He didn't much care if it was poisonous. Perhaps he'd die, and wake up, realizing that it was all just a weird dream. The fruit was okay.

But through the opening of the canopy, you can see a robot flying through the air like a jet, with thrusters sounding like speeding jet you may hear sometime in your life. The robot, or its passenger, was flying overhead, not paying attention to anything below.

Resson merely glared at the passers-by overhead and grumbled through his mouthful of fruit. The last thing he wanted was any more company.

"Shorty, stop!" The Robian skidded in mid-air, stopping his flight. "What?" Tekno pulled out her mini-computer. "I'm detecting a minor dimensional reading; a indue maybe, because there's movement in this one. Below us; bring us down that canopy." "What? I thought we were gonna-" "Just for a quick second. I wanna know if a portal opened." "ARRGH!" Shortfuse hovered down towards the trees, with Tekno flying right behind him, who dismounted off his back. After moving through branches and leaves, and flying fishes, they hovered near the trees, where they spotted a green Mobian dog eatting fruit. "Urm...oh! Sorry for intruding, luv." Tekno sheepishly said, afraid they were distrubing him.

Resson didn't reply. Rather, he picked up his fruit and began to walk the other way, an intensely annoyed and tired look on his face.

"Ass." Shortfuse muttered. Tekno shook her head. "Well I saw the problem; he was covered in the dimensional endue. That means he's from the other world." "Eh, so what? Let's just get back on route to Robo-hell before that Fini-chump and those dufuses get robotiziced." "Yeah, we'll come back for this guy later." With that, Tekno grab on to Shortfuse, and he blasted off back to the sky.

Ressom grumbled to himself as he finished off his fruit - if that wasn't enough, he had suddenly developed a rather irritating itch behind his ear. He takes off his shoe and sits down, contorting himself to scratch his ear with his foot, which for some reason felt more natural to him. "This place is so filthy... I need to get out of here..."

Apparently, there'd be no peace for Resson. A rustling of leaves later and a robot stood a few feet away from Resson, but came no closer. "Excuse me, sir, but I'm quite lost and in need of information. Can you help me?"

Resson was just about to snap at this new, latest intruder, when he noticed something odd about him. He was, in actuality, a robot... one that he recognized, but only vaguely, as if they met in passing. He squinted at the robot for a moment before he muttered something, almost to himself, as if searching for a word. "...Gizoid..?"

"Mostly, yes." The robot paused a moment, then tilted it's head slightly, remembering the things he'd been taught in his stay at Cream and Vanilla's home. Mostly things about politeness. "Pardon me, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Gemerl, formerly Emerl. Who would you be?"

Resson cleared his throat and straightened himself up a bit. "I am Professor Eric Terios Resson, specialist in A.I. and ...automated combat systems." He always hated adding that last part, but it was true. "So, needless to say, I know all about you. Assuming you come from my world, that is." He scoffed and looked off to the side. "Assuming you know what I'm talking about when I say that."

There was a great mysterious rustling from the nearby bushes right before lions tigers bears Rush emerged from them. Predictably, he saw the unknown robot and let paranoia take over. There was no telling who was friendly on this world -- better safe than sorry. "Dad! Get away from him!" There was terror in that first word, sharply contrasted by explosive anger as the corgi yelled the second part at Gemerl and zipped over to position himself between his father and the robot. Rush glanced over his shoulder at Resson, a bit more at-ease now that his creator was safely shielded. "There's a good reason you shouldn't wander around here alone and unarmed, Dad," He muttered, his sardonic tone battling with his evident relief. "Did you forget the welcoming committee we received back at the city? Y'know, the one made of robots?" He gave Gemerl an unfriendly glare. Dammit, he knew something like this would happen. Why had Resson wandered off and left him behind? Especially without Seven Force! His father was defenseless without that mech. He should've known better, just as Rush should've known better than to lose track of the one person he was assigned to protect. What kind of a bodyguard was he? A distracted one, that's what. Pay attention, you idiot. The corgi hit himself with a mental hammer and refocused on the situation at hand. He'd have time for dwelling later. A quick assessment of the scene confirmed that the robot was too close for comfort. Problematic. Easily fixed, though. Rush stepped forward and gave Gemerl a backwards shove with one hand. "Get back if you know what's good for ya, buddy. I'm not letting you anywhere near Dad until you give me a damn good reason for it."

"Rush, wait." Resson thought for a moment. "This robot here is from our world. H's rebuilt from what was formerly the Gizoid, the ultimate combat robot.. better known as "Emerl". I used a sizable amount of data from him that the military gathered from Prof. Gerald in order to create you and your brothers."

Unfortunately for Rush (and Gemerl, actually), Gemerl was quite... emphatic. In fact, he was so emphatic that just standing near people rubbed off on him- a remnant of his days as Emerl, though it was not permanent and it was only emotions and personalities that rubbed off instead of things such as style of movement and attacks… But still, it was extremely inconvenient. Especially when he has been standing far enough way from Resson as to not absorb any of the Prof.’s personality, only to have a belligerent android corgi walk right up to him. And so… that belligerence passed on to bot, and the rings of his eyes glowed an angry red as he clenched his fists. Who’d this android think he was, running in and shoving him like that? He was just having a chat with this Professor guy! He’d been running around all day looking for Cream, and he didn’t even know where he was anymore, and damnit, that corgi just SHOVED him when he wasn’t doing anything wrong at all! There for Gemerl decided that the best plan of action for the moment would be to… ATTACK! [dice=6] PUNCH IN DA FACE.[rand=96984446829133350692008033778061025971068981303976292219365171939]

[dice=6] "Oh...really?" Rush paused to turn and blink at his dad. "I...didn't know thaAWK!" Oh, that bastard. That unbelievable bastard. Attacking the moment he'd dropped his guard? Rush should've seen that coming a mile away, but his utter surprise at meeting what amounted to his ancestor had startled him just enough to leave him open and vulnerable. He gave himself a sound mental chastisement for once again taking his eye off the ball as he gathered himself up off the ground and forced his eyes to point in the same direction again. "Gizoid or not, dad, this one ain't friendly. Stay back, all right?" He shifted into a combat stance, eyes narrowing at his opponent. 'Ultimate Fighting Robot', eh? At least this fight should be interesting. "It's on now, you freak. Come get some!" Rush's fist shot out to return the favor he'd been given -- a solid right hook to the jaw. [dice=6] THUNK. And 'lo, the corgi could dish out what it takes! Or so Gemerl found out, as the force of the punch caused a slight dent on his faceplate. Of course, this only made the Gizoid angerier. Mostly because... well, this would be the sort of thing that'd make Rush angry. Like minds, at the moment. Regardless, Gemerl's temporary state of mind decided that it was SO GO TIME. [dice=6] PUNCH 2.[rand=457268404418383123340328673649424187975747310311758276707885627718]

[dice=6] Rush was ready this time. He twisted his torso out of the way to dodge the punch by a hair's width, then used the turning momentum to spin around and throw a roundhouse kick at Gemerl's legs. [dice=6][rand=64787487946626236100467139459755907501937619881638350731250027486]

Resson, who was quite taken aback by the sudden conflict, had been thinking the whole time. Why would s rather confused robot suddenly become so aggressive? He was acting like Rush. Of course, Resson made the connection right then and threw himself between the two in hopes of stopping the fight.

[dice=6] Rush's eyes went wide and he halted his kick in mid-strike. Unfortunately he was unable to halt his momentum, and since he was left precariously balanced on one foot by the aborted attack, his gyros could not compensate in time. The results would have been comical in any other circumstance. Rush spun around in a circle on the heel of his remaining foot, arms flailing, as he fell down and landed flat on his face. He returned to his feet with an incredulous and slightly annoyed expression. Mostly, though, he just looked worried that Resson was again in the line of fire. "Dad, what are you doing?! Get out of the way!"[rand=73265940361917718424738982211062090790432816923526795441401696596]

And, with Resson suddenly stepping between the two, Gemerl's attitude once again took a sudden turn. Shifting out of his fighting posture to a more formal one, the Gizoid made a sound similar to a sigh, crossed his arms, and looked off to the side, apparently no longer too concerned over the robot that he was just fighting with. As he did so, muttered under his breath (metaphorically, of course) " Well that was brilliant." And then after a moment the bot then gave an annoyed twitch, dropped to the ground and began 'scratching' at it's 'ear' with it's foot, as if it were a dog, the sound of metal scrapping against metal making a somewhat annoying sound. Yes, definitely a peculiar robot.

Resson smiled slightly at his hypothesis proved correct. A little too correct, as his smile vanished at the robot's canine display. "Apparently he mimics whoever he's closest to. A far cry from his original abilities. It's strangely sad, I think."

The corgi just...stared at the bizarre robot's display for several moments, a bit thrown off by the sudden end to the fight. He supposed Resson's explanation made sense...though a small, prideful part of him objected to the idea that the Gizoid had been copying him just now (he did NOT go around randomly punching people in the face! He shot them instead). It didn't explain the why, but it explained the what at least. Indeed, only one thing kept the situation from becoming much more logical at that moment. Rush pointed at Gemerl and said simply, "You do not do that, Dad." ...And then he had to quell a sudden urge to laugh as he pictured otherwise.

Gemerl shot a glare at the corgibot, then in a fashion that would best be described as 'indignantly' picked himself off the ground, dusting himself off as he did so, before finally turning to Resson. "You are correct in your assumption that I mimic those around me. That'd be why I had kept my distance from you..." he nodded his head slightly in Rush's direction, " before he came barreling in." After a moments thought, Gemerl took a few steps backwards, composure once again changing slightly. "So it'd be much appreciated if you didn't come too close, thank you. Anyway, I believe I had asked if this were Sol?"

Rush looked incredulous once again. "Buddy, you are about as far away from there as it is possible to be. Do either of us look like Princess Blaze to you?" His father's hasty agreement with him had caused the corners of the corgi's mouth to begin twitching. To his credit, however, he managed to keep a straight face.

Resson folded his arms and shook his head. "No. This is another world entirely, one far different form either of the ones we've encountered. You'd do best to not wander too close to any cities, as they're all controlled by a rather unpleasant person."

"I see." And with that, the robot was completely done questioning about his whereabouts. On to round two! "Have you seen a little rab-" But before Gemerl could finish his question, a small silvery orb appeared. "I'MBACKSORRYIHADSOMETHINGTOTAKECAREO- hey were's Metal? Ah, oh well, I'm sure he's around." A small and loud silvery orb. Cue blank stare.

"About this planet? Loads of data, yeah. What do you want to know?" Gemerl continued to stare blankly at the suddenly appearing orb, before finally deciding to turn to Rush. "Have you seen a little rabbit girl around?"
