"Well... ya'll won't have to do that here." Bunnie said. Really, there was no telling what this boy and his parents might have had to do to survive. Idly she wondered if the boy could have come from the same place as Lance and Dash had. She would have to make a point of asking the wolf sometime tomorrow... Gently she reached her organic hand out and encompassed it over his, giving a small tug to nudge him out.

For a moment, Ray seemed placid enough to come out from under the table, until he remembered his prior concern: whether or not the rabbot's robotic condition was contageous. Upon climbing to his feet, the squirrel frantically pulled off his glove and dropped it to the floor as though it were a dangerous creature. Whimpering and hyperventilating frightfully, the boy glanced about urgently until spotting a dishrag hanging over the edge of the counter. Ran sprinted up and snagged it (luckily it was within his reach) and took to scrubbing his now bare hand, mumbling repeatedly, " Don'tletmecatchitdon'tletmecatchitdont'letmecatchit..."

Tails just looked at Bunnie with a confused look that said 'What's with him?' without really saying it out loud.

Bunnie's mouth hung open in concern and confusion, staring at the boy as if he'd gone mad. "... Don't let ya'll catch what?"

Ray's whimpers had escalated to low-level weeping as he scrubbed relentlessly at his furry hand. " Norobotdiseasenorobotdisease!!" All of a sudden the squirrel yelped and held his paw tight to his body, bouncing with a pained wail; apparently he'd given himself a cloth burn.

It took Tails a second to make sense of that, but when he did, his fur bristled angrily. "Hey! Aunt Bunnie doesn't have no robot disease or whatever!"

The rabbit's nose scrunched a bit. She remained quiet for a moment, the sides of her mouth twitching as she tried to work out a way for her to respond to that. She stiffened her mechanical hand out of reflex; did he believe that her partial roboticization was contagious? She shook her head. "It's alright Tails, he's just a might confused," she said, walking over toward him. She wanted to reach out and take the cloth from him, but at that instant thought better of it. "Ray, honey," she began, using the name she'd heard Tails call him. "Ah promise ya... what Ah have ya'll won't have to worry about catching from me. Not by touchin' me or anything."

Ray hiccuped and continued to hug his hand, back away from Bunnie by a step. " *hic hic* A-Are you *hic* sure?? W-w-*hic*what if it *hic hic hic* s-starts now??"

Still scowling, Tails suddenly reached over and took Bunnie's left hand in his own. He paused for effect. "See? Nothing."

The little squirrel examined the scene carefully. He realized that Tails was completely unworried about coming in contact with the robotic parts of Bunnie's body. He said he's been here since he's a little baby... So if it was spreading, maybe he'd have changed by now too? Still hiccuping intermittently, Ray inched his way closer and closer to the two, his yellow ears flattened to his scalp. The boy's expression gave away his conflict; he carefully examined Bunnie's robian arm, but at the same time, his reluctance to come in contact was evident. At one point he raised his uninjured hand to touch Bunnie's arm, but at the last minute backed away. " S--*hic*--Sorry..."

Bunnie chuckled. "No harm done. Now come on, don't want these here sandwiches to do to waste, do ya?" she asked, simultaneously brushing the top of Tails' head gently.
