Jonas skidded to a halt so fast he nearly went tumbling, surprised at the new voice. "Who..." he shook his head, didn't matter who, "WHERE are you!?" he demanded.

The spider herself jumped a little, realizing that, as she suspected, she WAS in some sort of AI. "I'm... well... One moment." Anansi, after a moment, found the data stream that lead to Jonas' 'eyes'. A few seconds later, like a hologram, Anansi, clad only in her sunglasses, as always, appeared in Jonas' field of view. "I'm... in your mind, I suppose. Where are we?"

RUN!> Followed by an ear-splitting screech. <GEEZ, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!> Several moments later, <WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHO THESE EXTRA PEOPLE ARE?!> <MOVE FASTER, POKEY!> < F-fuh? Pokey??> < MIDI!!! MIDI!!! MIDI, WAKE UP!!> <Hell if I know, Doc.>

Isis let out a slow exhale, slightly annoyed by all the unnecessary noise. While the others were figuring things out, the jackal turned back to 27 shortly after sitting down near one of the maintenance stations. "No, This is no longer a game..." Isis looked over some of the tools and equipment on the table, recognizing a few instruments and lifted her malfunctioning robotic limb onto the table. Pulling back a few panels along the arm Isis exposed some of the inner machinery, inspecting the damage. It seemed the EMP blast had fried numerous connections in her arm's circuitry. Isis took a few tools and began to gently work on repairing her arm. There were the ocational spark of electricity and a few jolts of energy feedback, to which Isis simply winced and grit her teeth. She knew she wouldn't be nearly able to repair it entierly, for that she needed Finetivus, but if she could just restore it's mobility, that would do just fine for now.

"Wh- You're WHERE!?" Afer finally being free after over a decade of slavery, only to find someone invading his mind, Jonas snapped. Sharp screwdriver-like tool tips extended from his fingers as he lunged at Anansi's image. "GET OUT!!"

Anansi started slightly, but stopped as the robo squirrel's "claws" passed harmlessly through. "Trust me, I'd leave if I could, but I lost my connection to my body! Help me find somewhere else to hide out, and I WILL leave, ok? But till then, I'm looking for someone, and would... Like your help... please?"The spider girl had seemed confident at first, but was quickly slipping into being a scared girl again... I wanna find Fini...

"How bout...SCREW YOU! What is it with people thinking its ok to treat people like this!? First Robotnik turns me into a robot, then that wolf turns me into a freakin puppet, and you seem to think its ok to hop around in my mind! Well guess what? I'm SICK of it! I haven't just gotten freedom for the first time in close to two decades just for you to play mental hitch-hiker!"

Anansi's image shrunk back from the angry squirrel's tirade, and she shook her head, trying to focus enough to stay at least somewhat confident. "I had no idea that Inari's transmitter was transmitting into someone, if I had, I probably wouldn't have done this. I'm sorry, but I really have no choice as to where I can go right now, so you'll just have to put up with me. If you could find some sort of computer you could plug into, that'd be the last you see of me, all right?"

Isis kept working on her arm, but replied to 27. "There are people here that want to hurt us, but I will not allow that." After a few moments Isis heard Finitevus' last statement and sighed. The tenrec probably ran into a wall or something and knocked himself out again. She moved her head over to press the communications on her collar again with her chin. "This is Isis, I'm currently inside some sort of maintenance bay accompanied by that familliar Black arms experiment, 27. Inari has since lost control of the robot we found and it has run off. " She turned back to the work bench and continued on her arm. "I am attempting to re- " A loud electrical snap sparks from her arm and Isis winces briefly before letting out an exasperated exhale. "I am attempting to restore mobility to my cybernetic limb."

Jonas just glared at Anansi's image. "Well, tough-luck. I'm not about to 'plug in' to anything until I can be sure that I won't fall back under Robotnik's control. The only thing I'm doing now, is getting out of here, and finding a way to make this freedom permanent."

Anansi glared at the squirrel, crossing her arms as she spoke.
"Ok, fine. You run off, and try to get away from... wherever we are. Maybe I can try jumping into a robot or something we get near... You DO have a transmitter, right?"

"Probably...but don't you go messing with it! Like I said, I do NOT want to end up under Robotnik's control again! I don't know what exactly that guy did to the control programs, but I don't want you doing anything that might reactivate them!" He looked around quickly then assumed a neutral expression as he began to nonchalantly head towards the level's elevator. "Now just shut up and sit still," he growled quietly.

"Understood..." Isis waited for her fellow Legionnare to respond. After hearing Julie's response, Isis frowned again and turned her attention back to her arm. After a few more minutes of improvised reconstruction isis felt a sharp snap of pain rush into her shoulder as her arm suddenly tensed up. One of the few side effects of having something mechanical hooked up to your nervous system. Isis exhaled deeply, a small bead of sweat rolling down one side of her face as she sat up from the workstation and flexed her arm a bit. Other than a few sparks and mechanical twitches here and there, it seemed to be able to move as normal. She turned to a pile of scrap parts and lifted her wrist to them. She held it there for a moment as a small click was heard. Nothing... Isis frowned and let her arm down again, this time holding it up to her front as another click sounded. Again nothing. Isis was not happy, but at the same time, not surprised at all. She was able to restore her movement, but neither her wrist mounted lazer gun nor her cloaking mechanisms were functional. For that she would need Finitevus, and speaking of... Isis came back onto the communicator. "I've restored my arm's mobility, but the weapon systems are still offline. I expect you to take care of that, Finetivus. Where are you?"

The spider girl frowned, and crossed her arms, still fully visible as she just... floated "in front" of the squirrel. "At least you have a body to hijack right now. Mine is back home, where Lance could be doing Chaos only knows what to it." The hacker shuddered as her imagination helpfully supplied ideas for what Lance could be doing. "I just wanna get back home."

"Use your head..." Isis commented over the comm. link as she made her way over toward the door. The jackal flexed her robotic arm again to be sure and then turned toward 27 with a beckoning look. "We're leaving." Isis peeked out of the door for a moment, making sure none of those robots were walking about before stepping outside. Isis paused for a moment, lifting her nose to the air and taking in a few short breaths in either direction. It was a long shot, but there was still a small chance that julie's scent could be picked up from within the metallic base. 1=success, 2 or 3 = fail[dice=3] Nothing. Isis frowned. Noting the jackal's look and simple statement, the alien followed after her. Also noting her sniffing the air looking for her friend, he... imitated her, taking a huge, loud breath of air. And then frowned. The air... smelt very bad. So bad it was kind of painful. It made his nose burn. And his insides. So he sneezed. Hard. Sending a small glob of rather unpleasant goo to splat onto the wall across from them. "Bleeeuugggh... bad stink... Isis gave a small 'humph' and breifly rubbed her own nose. "indeed..." Isis grumbled as she agreed with the alien's comment. The stagnant air of this place reeked of old rusty metal and mechanical oil. This robotnik human either had no sense of smell or stank just as bad. Isis spoke out onto the comm. link again. "Julie, describe your surroundings, We're moving out. I will mark where I have been and the direction i've gone from that point. you should know when you see them." Isis turned to one of the walls on the hallway and lifted her robotic arm up and slashed her claws across it, leaving a large gouge in the metal. She then looked back to 27. "Let's go." And cautiously headed down the hallway.

Meanwhile, Jonas had been making is way towards the main exit. It actually wasn't that hard, since after all, he was just another workerbot on his way for some mindless task on Robotnik's orders, so the SWATbots and other security just ignored him. The problem right now was what to do when he...(THEY he grudgingly amended) got outside.
The logical solution would be to try finding the Freedom fighters...but I have no idea where Knothole is, and even a workerbot can't wander the great forest forever without recharging, not to mention regular maintenance...

The spider girl had no idea what was going through the Robian's mind, ironically, and besides, she was rather occupied by her own thoughts. What was a SWATbot, for one, and how could a robot be this intelligent? Was Eggman behind this somehow? ... Where WAS she, even? She really WAS completely lost... She was actually getting scared, losing her edge... and it showed in her "voice" as she spoke to the angry Robian. <Could I at least know the name of who I'm hitching a ride with? Just, uhm, answer the way I'm talking to you... if you want.> If anyone in the Legion heard her like this... they'd probably wonder who she was... although only Fini would really recognize Anne's, shy, frightened demeanor, compared to Anansi's cocky, almost vicious one.

The alien nodded and followed the jackel. She probably knew the area better then he did. Or at least, that's what he figured. The idea that she's never been here before never really occurred to him...

Isis wandered down the halls with 27 for a few minutes, making sure to keep the both of them out of sight of any of those robots, before getting annoyed and impatient with the whole situation. She stopped and ducked behind what looked to be a large storage container and jumped back on the communications lines. "Julie... where are you?"
