The squirrel glanced around the room, then headed over to the shelf that had the ointments... The only problem was he was REALLY short, so could only reach about 3/4ths of the way up. "Ah, nuts... Could you give me a lift?"

The overlander nodded and picked up the squirrel. He was surprised at how little the beast weighed, and at how fur felt beneath his fingers. He'd expected something more grimy, really. Not that it wasn't still weird.

Vic was completely unaware of Nick's line of thought as he checked each of the ointment bottles, searching for the one that dealt with burns. He was pretty sure it wasn't used to often, so there should be some right... "Aha!" The squirrel cried triumphantly, pulling down one of the bottles. "Got it."

Hearing that the ointment had been found, Nik carefully placed the thrope back onto the ground. "So... uh... what is it?"

Vic glanced at the jar in his hands, and shrugged. "The doc said it's some kind of... aloe, I think. I'm not an expert in medicine, but you just put it on the burned areas, and you're set." With a small smile, the squirrel offered the boy the jar.

With a small nod, Nik took the jar from the squirrel. "I .. erm... thank you. Hopefully this'll help." Normally he wouldn't 'uhm', 'ah', and 'er' so much but... well, being among beasts still hadn't settled with him. "I'm going to head back to the hut now..."
