The goat took a deep breath, trying to calm his temper. But in his eyes, it was obvious he couldn't hold back all of it. "Yes...can you PLEASE take us to it?"

"Er.. yeah. Sure thing Griff." Mighty took one last look around Knothole, before heading off towards the exit. "I'm pretty sure we left it in the outskirts of the Great Forest.. it shou;dn't be hard to find."

"Wait," Zachary muttered, throwing his cane up in front of Griff's path. The goat stopped abruptly, his chest barely an inch from the instrument. His quirked at the elder of the group. "What?" The snowy echidna barely turned his head, looking at Griff through his peripheral vision. "I want you and Coconuts to go and find Lilli, then take the other car and return to Elem." "... What?" Griff twitched, shaking his head. "Oh no, I need to see what's happened to my car and if it's--" he had attempted to walk around Zachary, only for the echidna to halt him a second time. "I will look at it, and I will fix it, then I will drive it home myself. You can obsess over it then." "But--" "Griff," Zachary turned, boring his eyes into the younger boy in a way Griff found himself very familiar with. "Find my niece and take her home." Griff's expression flickered through a few emotions, from annoyed to defiant, but finally settled itself on reluctant defeat. It didn't help that the old man's gaze sort of creeped him own. "... Fine. But it'd better be in one piece." "Very good," Zack commented, lowering his cane as the goat, with Coconuts in tow, stormed back off into the village. "Honey, Mighty? I believe you were showing me where you left it?"
