" She's mine, I c'n do whatever I want with 'er," the princess grumbled below her breath, giving the unresponsive machine a couple of good whacks.

"Sally, please control yerself. You need the rest," Sue said to Sally, gently placing a hand on her shoulder. "Now, I know yer a princess an' all, but don't make me break out th' duct tape!"

Cue bristling from a now very flustered looking Rob. "Sue!"

"Rob, no offense, but if the princess doesn't calm down, I'm helping Sue." The squirrel chimed in, rubbing at his eyes. He'd made the mistake of looking right at Nicole when she showed 'everything'. So now his eyes hurt.

"Sal..." Sonic sighed, snatching Nicole away before she really did break her. He then gently, but firmly, pressed her back down on the bed. "You get some rest, we'll worry about the mission, kay?"

(Ooookay, Lans and I decided to collab this since it'd require a lot of back-and-forth and we've already abused the convo clause too much as it is.) "NO!!!" Sally screeched, beating at Sonic's chest with what she undoubtedly felt were extremely powerful punches. "I AM THE JUSTICE PLAN THE MISSIONS, NOT YOU!!" "Yeah, usually," Sonic said calmly, trying not to break out into a smirk at the sight of her while keeping Nicole out of her reach. "...But today you've had your brains scrambled and you need to rest!" he insisted. "Besides...it's just going in to blow something up. I'm sure Rob'o here can handle planning for that much." The oddly irate princess's legs thrashed not too unlike her arms. As she stretched for Nicole and failed yet again to retrieve the computer, Sally flopped back down and huffed, holding her temples tenderly. "I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE!!" With a heavy amount of will, Sonic resisted the eyeroll that would probably have angered her further. "Fine, but you're still going to bed now, Princess," he scolded in the most Rosieish tone he could muster. Just as if a light switch had been flipped, the squirrelmunk's rage receded, and sorrow apparently took its place. Sally's eyes abruptly welled up with tears just before she clutched her pillow with an ear-splitting bleat. "I HATE YOUUU!!" Sonic just sighed, motioning to the doctor to step in. "Come on guys," he said to the others, heading for the door. He looked back at the bed as he did. "Love you too, Sal," he added right before he stepped out.

The more Sally ranted and raved, the closer Sue came to keeping her word about tying her to the bed. She had plenty of rolls of tape to use for any purpose. That all changed, however, the moment Sonic brought the princess under control: assessing that she would unlikely become a threat to herself or the team, she decided to just follow Sonic and finish the job they had started. Sue left the room without saying a word to anyone, except her own mind. Poor girl, she thought, shaking her head. She's delirious!

Vic was quiet again, simply heading for the door after Sonic, silently hoping Sally would be alright.

Exiting with the group, Rob couldn't help but take that opportunity to rub at his temple (careful of his still slightly sore forehead) and grimace. "I feel like I could sleep for a week," he muttered, "Alright, let's regroup so we can figure this mess out."
