"Get the door for me," Rob stood in front of Cyril's office, carefully cradling the fallen Princess Sally in his arms. Though the bleeding from her skull from where she'd made an ungraceful landing into the pavement had long since subsided, she had also yet to stir from her unconscious state. To say that Rob was worried was an understatement. He had been shocked and amazed enough to see her accompany them on their mission, but then to see her hurt... the archer couldn't help but blame himself. I should have done something, he thought with a twist of his mouth. He should have kept watch closer to where they entered. No, he should have gone with them. Then maybe he could have prevented this from happening. Oh, the delicate situation...

Coming first, meanwhile, in the category of "having his or her pride battered, bruised, dehydrated, sprained and shocked" was Sue Danta, dying for at least some water to quench her thirst. Back in Mercia, she was nearly cooked alive by the ventilation ducts, had her leg sprained after falling on it, and, for the coup de grâce, wound up jolted by Sally's computer, Nicole. Whatever bad feeling Sue had a while ago in Mercia, though, had since subsided, as their main concern was waking Sally up from her state. "Yessir," Sue replied, opening the door for Rob without question.

Behind Rob, a small squirrel stood, only bruised, and slightly 'cooked'. Out of everyone, except Rob, he'd come out of this the best, and was still concerned about the princess' state.

@cyril@ Even at the sound of the door creaking open and the footsteps that followed after, the old binturong bothered not to look up from the notebook he was currently (slowly) writing within. At least, not until he finished what he was writing, which took him a few moments before, with an exaggerated jab of the pen, he finished with the requisite period.
Then he looked up to the small crowd that now filled his hut slash office, his brow furrowing immediately on sight of the princess.
Scooting his chair nosily back as he rose from his seat, he (slowly) made his way to inspect the fallen ground squirrel(munk), making note of the blood with a wrinkle of his nose.
Never a good sign, that.
"What happened?"

"Hey what's going on in here?" Asked a now only slightly nausious Sonic as he entered the room at the sound of the commotion. "Did the mission go...all...right..." He trailed off as he spotted Sally. "Sal? SALLY!" All nausia forgotten, Sonic dashed across the room at a speed just short of one of his usual dashes. "What the heck happend!?"

"She fell on her head while leaving the control center. We had to cut our mission short to get her back here." Rob answered concernedly, looking between Sonic and Cyril. He then glanced over toward Vic and Sue, as if expecting them to back him up with details. Having his info second hand meant he wasn't as informed on exactly what had happened as they were.

Sue sat down on one of the chairs, wanting to take the pressure off her aching legs. She still wanted something to drink, though. "Say, doc," she said, panting. "I'll tell ya, but before I do, couldya gimme some juice, please?" @cyril@ Glancing from the princess to Sue, the binturong nodded. "Of course, Miss Danta..." glancing to Rob as he made his way to a bottle he asked, "How far did she fall...?" "About five, six feet," Sue replied, eagerly waiting. "Y'see, doc, we went to Mercia to decontaminate th' water supply and to destroy th' generator. We had to hastily create a platform in order to gain access to a vent, since there were guards at th' entrance. We decontaminated th' water, all right, but we were spotted by SWATs and had to escape. They turned up th' heat all th' way..."

"And we were in such a hurry to get out of those vents and not get cooked, that the platform we used to get IN ended up falling over. We could've ended up a lot worse if that sheet of metal hadn't covered us up." The squirrel finished, looking from the doctor, to Sally.

Of course, with each person's recounting of events, the look on Sonic's face just got worse. "ARGH, I knew I should have come with you guys. When I get back to Knothole, that knuckleheaded echdina's gonna get osuch a spindash to the head he won't know he was hit until next MONTH!" he raged. Having vented, he quickly latched onto the doc. "She's gonna be all right...right?"

@cyril@ Pouring the glass, the binturong's nose wrinkled slightly. "It's hard to say. We'll find out when she wakes up. Until then there's nothing I can do."
This is, of course, assuming that it was a concussion and nothing else. If it were worse than that... well, there'd still be nothing he could do. It wasn't as if he had surgical equipment here, and if she'd cracked her skull...
The thought wasn't pleasant. Shuffling back to Sue again, her drink in hand, he took another glance to Sally.
It seemed like the blood was from a small surface level cut, if it were worse there would of likely been much more. Of course, he was always careful with his assumptions.
"You may as well set her on the cot for now."

"Alright," Rob nodded, moving toward it and gently laying the princess down in a comfortable position upon it. Afterward he backed away a couple of steps, allowing space for the other more darker colored hedgehog in the room to see her if he wished.

Sue, meanwhile, took the juice and gulped the whole thing down without stopping. She slowly set the glass down on the table, wiped the juice off her mouth with her arm, and cracked a weak smile. "Thank you," she said to Cyril.

Vize was quiet, staying near the door as he looks over his hands, trying to gauge how burnt they may be.

And of course, Sonic immediatly brushed past Rob into the room with Sally, pulling up a nearby chair to sit nex to her bed.

Speaking of whom, the princess's eyes had slitted open slightly, tho it wasn't immediately clear if she'd actually awakened. In fact, she wasn't really sure either. Everything seemed kind of fuzzy, and she had the most horrible headache she could ever remember in her life. The light in the room seemed to jolt straight through her eyes, encouraging them to stay closed. " Ow..."

And once again Sonic moved with a speed just below supersonic, moving to Sally's side in a flash. "Sally! Hey, I think she's waking up!"

Already by the princess' side, Rob leaned in closer to get a better look at her face. "Your majesty?"

Sue didn't feel like standing up—at least not yet—but she was able to witness all the action from the comforts of her chair. "Well, she's conscious, that's fer sure," the tapir said, relieved.

@cyril@ Glancing over, the binturong hummed a bit to himself, moving to the desk and pouring another drink. Best to give the princess a few moments to catch her bearings before doing a check on the 'damage', so to speak.

The pain in her head was so intense. Sally tried for a very brief moment to sit up, but gave up almost immediately as the ache only intensified. Instead, the princess raised a hand to her forehead to quell the pain. Right around then she noticed voices other than Sonic's. Despite her great reluctance to face the bright light again, the squirrelmunk forced her eyes open a crack for the second time, and managed to make out Rob's hooded features looming over her as well. ...Uh oh."I.. overslept again... Didn't I?"

Sonic just took her hand into both of his. "Nah, its ok Sal," he said, sounding very relieved, "Just mondo glad to see you waking up at all..."

A deep exhale came from the other hedgehog behind him. Good, she's awake, he thought. "Your majesty, are you okay?"

@cyril@ Now filled glass in hand, Dr. Forrester made his way to the princesses side, a light smile across his face.
It was good to see her awake, really. But still, there was business to attend to.
Like 20 questions.
"Can you tell me how old are you, Your Magesty?"

Well, she definitely wasn't feeling okay, but... "I'm 16... Why?" Failing another attempt to sit up, Sally groaned and rolled over instead. "Shouldn't we get going?"

Sonic just nodded to Cyril. "Sally...you already left. You...got hurt during the mission."

Rob blinked several times as Sonic confirmed the princess' answer. "She's only sixteen?"

Sue couldn't believe it, either. She took another big gulp of juice while letting Sally's revelation sink in. The moment she swallowed, she could only murmur, "Holy crap, she's even younger than I am!" Setting the glass down, she limped over to where Sally was resting and felt it would be convenient to remind her of what happened. "Ma'am," she said, leaning in, "I'm gonna make this short: we already went to Mercia. We made it inside city hall after Rob distracted th' SWATs. We crawled through the vent into a computer room an' you an' Vic succeeded in decontaminatin' th' water, but we were spotted before we were able to do more. We escaped, but th' platform we used to get in there in th' first place gave way, and, well, here ya are." Sue then took Nicole out of her tool belt. "Oh, an' that crazy computer of yers shocked me when I tried to access th' map to th' generator we were about to trash. It's still in one piece. Here ya are." She set it down on Sally's lap with a smirk.

"... But... no, I..." Third time the charm, the princess succeeded in pushing herself onto her elbows. "We had the meeting... I stayed up to work out some details.... ..... And I went to bed..." Although that raised the question of why Sue had Nicole at all. Sally stared blankly at the computer for several seconds, then finally reached out for the device. And dropped it on the floor.

@cyril@ Cyril's first reaction was to stoop down and pick up for her magesty, but... after Sue's comment of shocking, it may of been best not to.
He wasn't fond of shocks, after all.
"You seem to remember up until the mission, so I suppose my other questions aren't needed... how are you feeling?"
