"Unknown Unit: Dash...is another comrade of yours?" Silver Sonic asked as he walke behind them.

Crash said nothing in response to Zack, instead letting his gaze alternate between Midi and Dash. Now that the tenrec's communicator was (probably) working, Crash had a working lead on the DL again. And on Julie. It'd been a while since he was this hopeful about his chances. So his expression just got a little more steely. He didn't want to get his hopes up too much.

Dash grinned. "Well, what do you know, something is actually going right for a change!"

Midnight frowned as she watched the snowy colored echidna dash across the street and vanish into another alley. "Are we seriously going to sit here and wait for him?" Lance glanced at the robot with an uncertain look. "Uh... yeah." he cleared his throat, nodding to Julie. "Yeah sure, sounds good." he said, heading off toward the direction his radar instructed.

@segajulie@ After following Lance's radar (read: repeatedly tugging it down to where she could see it herself rather than just blindly follow him), Julie began to dart on ahead of the others when it seemed like they were within shouting distance. "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH??" the pangolin called out as she sprinted around the trash.

And Crash simply... froze. There was no way he was hearing Julie's voice right now. No. Damn. Way. He must be going nuts. Ot mistaking someone else... but there was no way he could mistake anyone else for Julie. Crash didn't realize it, but almost every muscle in his body had gone tense, and as a sign of it, he was actually TREMBLING faintly. So he was rather surprised when he moved enough to look at his hand, which was visibly shaking.

"Large volume vocalizations while in hostile territory are NOT reccomended!" Silver said to Julie as he increased speed to keep up with her.

Hearing the shout, Dash sighed and shook his head. Probably wasn't the best idea to be yelling in a war zone, but... well, maybe they didn't know. Peeking out of the alley, he spotted the group, and gestured to them to 'SHHHH'.

Realizing he was suddenly standing there alone Lance darted off after the two. "Hey, wait up!" Midnight on the other hand winced a bit at the sudden shout and sighed.

@segajulie@ "Oh walk it off," Julie muttered with a roll of her eyes. Spotting Dash as he leaned around the corner, the pangolin grinned and only increased her speed. "Heeeey, you're a real sight for sore eyes!!" Without warning, the tenrec had been tackled straight to the dirty ground, promptly followed by a playful headlock and noogie. "Who'd'a thunk we'd find another familiar face out of NOWHERE, huh? Good timing, too, because Lance and I were just about to split!"

And as Julie appeared in the alleyway, Crash's brain just locked down. He'd found her. He'd. Found. Julie. He remembered he'd had some kind of rescue plan, but, did she need rescuing? Why was she acting like these DLer's were her friends... Well, that Dash was, at least. Crash's brain just couldn't handle all the stress of the last day, combined with this... That did it. Crash only got one word out, VERY quietly. " Jules?" And then he pulled a Ray fainted, ending up on his face.

@segaray@ Ray had been relatively quiet for some time, clinging to Crash in absolute fear and letting out the occasional whimper or flurry of hiccups. However, the devil quite literally gave out beneath him out of nowhere, and the squirrel was also sent tumbling to the ground. Upon righting himself, Ray quickly scrambled aside and curled up against the nearest wall, still shaking uncontrollably.

There was the sound of rapid metal footsteps before Silver Sonic came into sight just after Julie. "Your persistance of being abnormally loud volumed has a high probability of attracting hostile units," Silver told her, "Suggest lowering of personal volume."

The tenrec was taken back by the sudden pouncing, and as Julie is either now learning or has learned before and taken precautions against, a startled tenrec is not the best target for noogies. It isn't helped when they squirm in your grasp either. "Hey! HEY! Stopthat! We'reinawarzone!"

Zachary had wandered some distance away from the group now. Taking his cane out to give himself a rest, he peered down at Vize's radar with a scrutinizing look of concern. That blasted stone still hadn't moved, and he was now only a block away from it. Tightening his hand's grip on his cane he carefully inched up toward the alley, pressing himself against the building walls and peering down into its dark depths. There was the Power Stone. Zachary's suspicions grew ten fold. The stone sat in the murky soil without a trace of that bizarre creature in sight. His eyes narrowed. A trap? Pondering his options the echidna debated over how to approach his situation. From what he could make out with his mechanical eye's night vision he couldn't see anything in the darkness to ambush him... No laser alarms set up around the parameter... With a vague hum he snatched a rock from the ground and tossed it toword the stone. Nothing. Frowning even more, he switched his hand into cannon mode and carefully approached. When he finally did reach the stone and examined it up close his suspicions instantly turned to that of infuriated surprise and mild panic. Its glow was gone. The stone was dead. Back with the others, Midnight blinked in surprise at the sudden appearance of two more cyborgs, and even more-so between Crash's sudden collapse and the appearance of Silver Sonic. Eyeing the robot uneasily she moved her way over toward Dash. "Uh, hey Dash? I think we ought to split while tall, dark and psycho's out cold here."

@segajulie@ Despite her experience with the situation, Dash's rampant fro'ing did still give Julie a few tenrec splinters, and the pangolin quickly backed off. "Oh relax, I wasn't THAT loud." Man, everyone sure was on her case about her volume right then. I think at this point it'd be worth it to quiet down just so they'd all stop hollering at me about it!
Rising to her feet and dusting off, Julie's then offered a hand to help Dash up as well, ignoring all others in the moment. "It's a good thing we found you, regardless. The Doc wants us all to meet back up, and we just lost contact with Isis."

Smoothing down his spines, Dash gave the pangolin a confused look, but first glanced over towards Midi. "You're probably right- seeing how he's been going off about Julie and the boss..." He paused, then turned again back to Julie, "... is there a reason nearly everyone is here?" Maybe... maybe they were sent to fetch him after that rope broke?

"Unknown energy anomalies caused dimensional displacement for most present parties, thus resulting in our current situation," Silver told Dash. ...Well, he asked.

[dice=6] Lance was all too familiar with that look. That's why he dove behind Dash as soon as she started moving. After watching the two boys be dealt their respective fates Midi sighed, pressing a palm to her forehead. "Soooooo Dash," she finally spoke up, "Any ol' chance of you introducing me to the circus you ran away with?"[rand=75028973633025877004993901971228845193180470227307696259551992324]

@segajulie@ Still huffing slightly over the fact that she missed the more desirable of her targets, Julie glanced at the flying fox in passing. Rather than answering the question that was clearly about her and her companions, the pangolin instead nudged Dash with her boot and said, "C'mon, get up. We've gotta get moving!"

Midi just took to repeatedly poking Dash on the organic arm in frustration. "Hey! Quit ignoring me!" Lance just glanced over at Silver and shrugged. "Yeah. I'm for getting a move on." having said that he turned and began to wander away from the group - he was the one who had the working tracer after all.

Silver started to follow, but then paused and looked back at Midi and Ray. "It would be advisable for you to follow, as there is a high probability of your capture and roboticization without defenders."
