Meanwhile , thousand of miles away.... What's bad about fixing a stubborn engine is doing so with limited parts. Though Griff managed to pry out something that was caught in the engine, the hover car still kept stalling when he tried to turn in on. "Sheesh! Come on, start you!" Griff growled as twisted the knob on the panel.

Coconuts, meanwhile, was sitting in one of the car's seats fiddling about with his cat's cradle string.

AND... LILLI ARRIVED. And took a seat without a word. And without a mention that she'd apparently thought it a good idea to bring her uncle. "Hi Coco."

"Hey Lilli. Just give me a second." Griff kept twisting and pulling every lever and button, but the car barely started its engine. "Come on! I cleaned the entire engine out! Just start!!" I am so gonna have a talk with Honey when we get there. He knew that it was her idea to take the good car.

Coconuts glanced distractedly away from his string a couple times. "Hey Lilli," "You look like you could use some help," Zachary's voice suddenly spoke up from directly behind Griff. Apparently he'd been standing there for a few moments watching him struggle while Lilli settled herself down.

And... Lilli offered Coconuts a sandwich. "Want one?"

"Huh?" he snapped his eyes at Zack since he startled him. He continued turning the key. "Yeah, kinda. I tried everything and this engine won't start!"

Coconuts broke his focus away to look at the echidna girl, taking a moment to register what was being held up in front of his face and blinking at it. Twisting his mouth to one side he scowled and shook his head. "No thanks." And then he grumbled something barely audible about not being able to eat to himself. Zachary, meanwhile, had stepped around in front of the hover car. Seeing as the hood was already up he began to inspect the engine and tinker around where he felt attention was needed. "There's your problem," he voice drifted up after a few moments. "Battery cable's loose."

"Okay." And the sandwich was then relocated back into her toteybag.

BAM! That would be the sound of Griff slamming his head on the 'wheel'. Luckily he has a hard head. How could I NOT see THAT? Perhaps its the hard head's fault. ...and now it's the horn's fault for he has them stuck in the wheel. "Um...guys...?"

Zachary slammed the hood down after having patched up the problem. As he glanced up he suddenly realized Griff's predicament and exhaled. "... Hope you're not planning to drive that way."

Lilli... wasn't even paying attention. She was busy rearranging sandwiches in tastefully artistic ways in her bag. At least, that's what it seemed to be doing. How someone could do such a thing is an entirely different question.

"No, not really." Griff sheepishly muttered, pulling his horns free. It was a lucky thing he didn't pull the wheel out, otherwise they be stuck for another while. "-sigh-...Let's just get a move on, guys, before anything else happens." Pressing the start button, the craft finally started its engines. "Yes!!"

Zachary smirked at Griff as he limbed into a seat. "You're welcome."

The echidna girl sat quietly, tote bag secure on her lap, and a Zachary sized space besides her.
