Robotnik's Citadel. A place constantly wreathed in the sounds of machines striding to and from their many tasks, which made this SWATbot no exception to the norm... What DID was in fact two things.
One, SWATs didn't normally have a sway in their hips when they walked. Nor did they seem to be humming a merry little tune to themselves.
The second thing, although technically the third, was that it had a Robian slung under one arm quite firmly. In fact, it seemed to have no intention of letting go. EVER.
After the third hallway, the SWATbot paused, resting its free hand on its hip in a decidedly feminine pose. And then it spoke, but the voice was female, rather than the normal mechanical monotone the robotic soldiers were known for.
"Come ON! I've got a map to this place in here, and I'm STILL lost?" Inside the cyberscape that made up the Swatbot's "mind", the spider girl sat in a stylized version of, although she didn't know it, Robotnik's throne, holding what looked like a stereotypical road map.
"Okay, I took a left here, then I took a right... how did I end up HERE?" With a frustrated groan, the spider put the map (which seemed to fold itself up) away, and considered her next move.
"Maybe if I... Yeeeees..." Her decision made, the spider placed her hands on what looked like a control console.
The SWAT, its body now receiving orders again, strode towards an alcove in a wall, and stood, facing out into the hallway.
"It's been fun, Robocop, but I must take my leave. ... Buh bye, Nuts for Brains."
The SWATbot patted the unconscious Robian on the head lightly, then went to a rigid upright stance, shutting down, although it was still holding its cargo under one arm.
But although she'd shut the SWAT down, she left one system still online... its transmitter, which she almost caressed the data form of, smiling softly.
"Ok, baby... I promise I'll be gentle... for now." And with that, the spider vanished from inside the SWATbot shell, and entered the massive world that was Robotropolis' computer network.
The itsy bitsy spider crawled up the water spout... A mental giggle, and the girl was off, looking for anything to find her allies.
