The princess's expression grimmed. She had a high level of tolerance of obnoxiousness, but not rudeness. Re-entering the hut, Sally crossed directly over to the bed and folded her arms, giving Lance a hard look. "I realize that you're new here, Mr. Silverpaw, and that you don't know all of our customs yet, but one that I will not allow you to ignore is that everyone pulls their own weight around here. This hut is not yours; this is Dash's. When you help clean out the other hut, then you can stay in that one."

He glanced up at Sally through one eye, his mouth curling into a wry smirk. "Hey toots, anyone ever tell you you look adorable when your cheeks fluster like that?" Bunnie eyes flew open. Whether out of rage or concern over Sally's reaction it was hard to tell. She looked over at the princess with an expectation of fireworks.

"If you end up without arms and legs for that, you brought it on yourself."

Sally's jaw dropped slightly. Lance's brashness had actually rendered her speechless. With an expression that was clearly angry this time, the ground squirrel struggled to find the words she wanted for a minute, then finally just turned and stormed out of the hut, calling as she exited, "Please do not call me that." I wish I had Nicole so I could shoot him in the crotch with her laser.

Glancing at the direction Sally had run off, then back at Lance, Bunnie's ips parted into a faint snarl. "'Round these here parts, sugah, we treat ladies with respect!" Marching over to where the wolf relaxed, she snatched the bed and lifted the whole thing, dumping its contents out the window before storming off after Sally. Lance yelped and tumbled out with a loud thud.

And with that, Dash shut and locked the window. And locked the door. And checked the other windows. THAT TAKEN CARE OF, he flopped into the bed. After today, he needed the rest. Oh god he NEEDED it.

Suddenly there came a tapping. From someone gently rapping. Rapping at the chamber door window, next to Dash. *tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap*

And the tenrec lied in bed, starring at the ceiling. "Why? Just... why?" Then he covered his head with a pillow, trying to ignore the tapping.

((Sorry, I thought Lance was still around. XD )) *tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap * Obviously STK had never been to an aquarium before. They have signs that read 'DO NOT TAP ON GLASS' because typically it annoys fish. Apparently, it annoys Tenrec's too. But for STK, looking through this glass was a strange creature he'd never seen before, and he wanted it to move.

The pillow smothering didn’t help so much, specially since the tapping just kept going, and going, and going… And combined with everything else that had happened today, Dash had just about had it. Well, actually, he did, as he then flung the pillow at the window and screeched at the top of his lungs “SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!” And then he noticed exactly who was on the other side of the glass, or actually, what. Glowy red eyes. Hairless monkey face. ROBOT PARTS. “… what the hell D:”

He floated in mid air in front of the window, his unblinking eyes fixed on Dash. The creature had moved! A feeling resembling excitement swept over him for a moment. It had made noises too. Loud ones. Now it stood staring. STK gazed in at it curiously almost feeling sorry for it. Poor thing must hate being trapped. He wanted to break the glass, but then it might be a sea creature, and there might be water inside. So he continued tapping a bit, softer and slower this time. A longing to have a friend...or pet. STK's eyes droop slightly, somewhat remembering how alone he felt.

And Dash continued to gawk. Honestly, there were no words for this, though plenty of thoughts. For example, did the Knothole Freedom Fighters know they had a shaved monkey robot with wings in their village? And why the hell was it at his window? But no, he knew the second one, because it was just his luck. He shifted a bit, then after a bit of thought, waved slowly to the robot. It didn't seem... er... dangerous, though it was hella creepy.

It made a motion. Sort of like waving! Fascinating. Stk began to make funny faces at it. Pulling his cheeks out wide, or pulling his eyelids down to make childish faces. Stk giggled a bit. Like a child finding his reflection amusing for the first time. He tapped a bit more. "Heyyyyy. Can you talk too? Why are you in that cage? Are you bad?"

Dangerous? Probably not. Annoying? Definitely. He sighed, since apparently he wasn't going to get any rest, so instead he wandered over to the window and opened it. "Excuse me?"

Stk put up his arm in defense anticipating water to come rushing out at him. When nothing happened, he looked back at the opened glass of the 'aquarium,' and asked, "Where's the water?"

To this the tenrec raised a brow. "The water? In the pipes, probably, but then again with my luck the water isn't turned on for this hut. Why, you want some?" Now why a robot would want water he had no idea.

"Pipes. You don't swim?" Stupid question. Furry animal + No water. Of course not. "What are you? Were you bad? Why were you locked up?"

Dash drummed his fingers on the window sil. "I can ask you most if not all of the exact same questions, but... 1. I'm a tenrec 2. Not that I was aware of 3. What?"

"Me? I'm JAMProject Soultaker. I am good. My master tells me so. And I was locked in a cave because my master was dead and I didn't know." Stk stares blankly.

Blank stare. "h'Oookay then. Does... uh... anyone else know you're here?"

"There was burrowing rodent. He said to come here. Said I should talk to a Princess. But I don't know what one looks like. Then I noticed your aquarium."

And the tenrec raised a brow again. "Okay then. Well, I guess we should go find the princess for you, shouldn't we?" And with that he shut and relocked the window and made his way out the door. "And FYI, this is a house, not a cage or an aquarium."

And the creature was outside now. Stk floated gently to the ground immediately below. His inherent draining effects caused the circles of grass beneath his feet to wither. "Ok. I'll do whatever you say."
