"... Alright. Before you even bother asking, I'm NOT covered in tin foil and I'm NOT yelling halt and all that crap, so, YES, I am in my right state of mind thank you very mu--" he paused when he caught sight of Bunnie's appearance and lo... actually shut his trap. "... Hrm. Hi." Bunnie frowned. Curious as his appearance was, that attitude left something to be desired. "... Pleasure t'meet ya'll too, sugah," she said dryly, then turned to Tails and give him a considerably warmer smile. "Hey there, sugah-muffin," she said, giving him a friendly pinch on the cheek. "Who're these here strangahs ya'll've turned up?"

Dash allowed the randomly appearing old woodchuck lady give him a bandage turban. Why? Just seemed the thing to do. "Possible concussion and seeming random memory loss notwithstanding, yeah I'm guessing it'll be alright. Thanks, 'mam. Got anything for a headache? I could use it about now." Dash turned slightly to the wolf. "Got any bactine either? I think I gave my 'friend' here free acupuncture on accident."

"Oh," Rosie said with a touch of concern, "Well, it didn't look to bad. You should take it easy for a couple of days then. I'm sure the Princess will find you a place to stay in a bit." she saidm finishing up with the bandage and handing the tenrec some asprin. She looked over at Lance, "Is there anything I can do for you, young man?"

Lance glanced down at the puncture wounds all over him and frowned. "Meh, I'll live. And the name's Lance." pause. "Yo, you wouldn't know where I could grab a bite? My stomach's cursing a blue streak."

Dash gladly accepted the meds but paused at something the older woman had said. "Princess?"

"Yes, Princess Sally," Rosie said, then to Lance, "Very well, if you're sure. As for something to eat, I was just getting ready to serve lunch when young Miles came to get me." Tails, once again wincing at the use of his dreaded real name. Flew off towards the elevator out of Knothole. He'd just realized he'd left his hockey puck back where he'd accidentlty beaned Dash.

Lance was too engrossed with the idea of finally eating after scavenging around the last few days to really care about Rosie's mention of the princess. "Hey, sounds good to me!" he turned and looked at Dash. "Right, pal?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah... lunch. Lunch sounds good right about now." He frowned a bit as he thought. Princess Sally? Daughter of King Acorn? Heiress of the crown of the Acorn kingdom? He'd always assumed that like her father she had died in the coup when Robotnik exterminated the Old Order (then again, he didn't know that Acorn wasn't dead either). Thinking this over, he smiled. Maybe there was some hope for Mobius to be the way it used to.

"Well well then, everyone follow me," Rosie said, leading the way back to the large hut used as a dining hall. The group was met there by the approaching group of Sonic, Sally and Crunch, who came to a stop just outside. "Hey Rosie, Bunnie, uh..." he hesitated at Lance and Dash, "Robo-wolf dude and fellow hedgehog."

On the way to her hut for a quick rest, Sally's ear turned at the last two addresses Sonic made. More visitors? She glanced over, and saw that there were in fact two new-comers. On some level she groaned internally, but putting on a smile she made her way (slowly) toward Lance and Dash, one wrist tightly pressed against her back in such a way that it could look formal, but would also ease her pain. "Hello, welcome to Knothole," she greeted pleasantly, offering her free hand. "I'm Sally. Are you from another Freedom Fighter group?"

Crunch examined the newcomers without saying anything, particularly unsure of what to say to them. Though there was something about the other hedgehog he couldn't put his finger on. He figured a general introduction would be proper. "Hi! I'm Crunch." He said.

" Hey Dash, look, someone as big a pincusion as you are," Lance snickered, before turning to answer Sally. He had to pause for a moment at first to take in her appearance; she wasn't bad looking at all. "We were," he frowned. "Me and Dash came from a village called Greenpine. Robotnik trashed our home though... we've been looking for refuge since them." and then a small smirk crossed his face. "By the way, name's Lance, Lance Silverpaw. S'cuse the irony in that name."

Dash developed a facial tick at the 'fellow hedgehog' comment, as well as a spiny afro of anger. He was called a hedgehog often, but that didn't mean he liked it. But this guy was a hedgehog, and he couldn't even tell the difference?! But he didn't know these people, and blowing a gasket in front of strangers generally wouldn't be a good idea- especially ones that have been so far been rather kind. So instead he counted backward from five, then answered. "Tenrec, actually." Then his attention turned the squirrel, taking her hand and shaking it courteously. "Thank you, pleasure to meet you, Sally". He paused, thinking over what the woodchuck told him earlier. "You wouldn't be Princess Sally, would you?"

Sonic growled quietly at the pincoushin comment. He was still getting over the bad mood Kato had put him in. "Yeah very ironic name, wouldn't you say, Sal?"

Sally cleared her throat forcefully, warning Sonic to behave. Returning her attention to Dash, she said, "Actually, I am, but I hope you won't think of me any differently. I'm the same as anyone else around here." She paused to rub the base of her back with her wrist, then added, "I'm sorry to hear about your home. You're welcome to stay with us if you'd like; we're always looking for allies, and I think we have a couple huts just being used for storage at the moment. And it's about lunch time, so if you'd like anything to eat I'm sure Sonic will show you the way." She turned and smiled at the hedgehog, but her eyes were hard. "Won't you, Sonic?"

Crunch poked Dash. "Something about you doesn't smell right."

Shooting a brief glare at Sonic, Lance fixated his attention on Sally. He hadn't taken the time to really digest what that woodchuck had said earlier but... this was the princess she had mentioned? Heh. Royalty AND a hot babe to boot. Definitely a good combination in his book. Unfortunately, while he would have loved to stay and bask in her glow, his stomach rather abruptly reminded him of other more important concerns that required his attention. He grinned and nodded. "Thanks for the offer your highness, might just have to take you up on that. What do you say, pal?" he jabbed Dash in the side with a metallic elbow. "And food sounds great to me."

Dash gave the lobster kid a strange look. You just... don't go around smelling people. It was impolite. "Excuse me?" Of course, then Lance jabbed him in the side. "ERK!"

Sally smiled, but her fatigue was obvious. "We're happy to have you stay," she said to both of them. "I'd be happy to show you around Knothole, but I'm afraid now isn't a good time. I'll answer any questions when I return, though, if you still have any by then. We'll have a lot to talk about, anyway." Giving a wave with her free arm, the princess turned to head off to her hut for a rest -- and hopefully a sack of ice on her back. "It's been nice meeting you both! Just ask Sonic if you need anything!" And with that, Sally made her way again toward the line of huts before the hedgehog could protest.

Sonic turned to protest being stuck with the newbies, but when he did, Sally was already gone. And I thought I moved fast... he thought. "Ok," Sonic said turning back to the two, "Lemme welcome you to Knothole, and introduce myself. I'm Sonic, the jucinest, most way past cool hedgehog on Mobius," he said, taking an exagerated bow. "Please, hold all applause and requests for autographs until later. Now, we'll get to lunch in a sec, but first..." he suddenly grabbed Dash and Lance's arms, "...a hedgehog style tour of the place. Catch ya later Rosie!" he finished, before revving up and taking off at top speed, heading for Rotor's lab.

Crunch suddenly recognized the stench coming off Dash: black cats and broken mirrors. He quickly turned and ran off to hide, running as fast as his little legs could carry him. "ARGARAAA!"

"HURK!" Lance gagged in motion sickness as Sonic had grabbed him and raced off. In reflex he slapped his free hand over his mouth. ... He was pretty sure he might have just bruised his snout in the process.

Dash was not expecting that. At all. So the only thing he said to suddenly being dragged off at mach speed was " HOLY-"

Sonic screeched to a halt hard enough to give the two whiplash. "This here is our main man Rotor's place. He handles all the technall stuff, and cranks out a past cool invention every now and then. Also, NEVER open his closet...well..." he glanced at Lance, "I guess you could. Ok, NEXT STOP!" And they took off again.

Unfortunatly, Sonic wasn't listening. They screeched to a halt outside the waterwheel generator building. "This here's the waterwheel..." He paused long enough for the wheel to rotate a quarter of the way around. "Ok, boring, NEXT!" And they were off.

One thing flashed into Dash's mind when Lance said he didn't feel good. And it wasn't something pleasent either. He had to get loose. SOON. " LET ME OFF THIS CRAZY TOUR!" And there was flailing.

A second later they came to a bone jarring halt near the ring pool. "And this hear's the ring pool. Don't ever let me catch you messing with this, ever, especially you, " He added looking at Lance. Suddenly the pool began to glow and bubble. "Hey, just in time!" The water suddenly erupted upwards, releasing a power ring wich Sonic rushed over to catch.
