After the hail of metal fists, courtesy of Lance, Dash was in bad shape with not only a second concussion, but also a broken jaw. Not to mention a bloody mess in general. And unconscious. And seeing as his bed was covered in broken glass and wooden splinters, he was resting on the couch instead while the nanny woodchuck attended to his wounds.

Bunnie lead Alice and Lance through the village, stopping outside Dash's hut. She glanced back toward them and nodded her head briefly. "Here we are," she announced, knocking gently on the door and opening it a crack to peek inside. "Ya'll in there Rosie? Iffin we can come in there's a visitor for Dash."

Alice jumped at the sight of her signifigant other. "Oh Dash!" She cried, running up to the couch and unintentionally shoving Rosie out of the way. She threw her arms around his unconscious body and gave him a hard and crushing hug.

Rosie was up in an insinstant and forcibly pulling Alice away from Dash. "No see here young lady, this boy has been injured, you can't just go tackling him like that!" She scolded, then looked her over, "Now...Bunnie would you mind giving me an introduction please?"

AND MUCH LIKE WHEN THE PRINCE KISSED THE SLEEPING SNOW WHITE, DASH AWAKENED AT BEING HUGGED BY HIS LOVED ONE. Only it was less of a sappy love moment and more of 'you're crushing my bones' moment. " auowww...."

Bunnie blinked as the hybrid rushed in past her as soon as she'd cracked the door open. Helping herself inside she walked toward the group. Lance poked his head in briefly to get a view of the scene, then took to leaning against the wall just beside the door, arms folded over his chest. "This here's Alice," Bunnie said as she stopped beside the woodchuck "Met 'er when I was checkin' up on ol' what's-his-name," she spoke the last words sharply and glared over at Lance's direction.

Alice suddenly realized her error and loosened her grip on the tenrec. "Oh, pardon me... I'm Alice Garland. Dash and I got seperated a while ago." She said, slightly embarassed by her emotional display. "It's just that we've been separated for so long..." Dinah rubbed up against Bunnie's leg affectionately, wagging his tail. "I was rather suprised to find Lance here was well, after wandering around for this long... Where are we anyways?" ((Author's note: Pixie Bobs, oddly enough are a breed of cat that wag their tails when content. It's.. Weird.))

Well, Dash was awake now. Well, a more accurate description is that he was stumbling drunkenly on the metaphorical line that borders consciousness and unconsciousness, but that could pass as a form of ‘awake’. All he knew is he could hear voices, though he couldn’t understand them, and a strange ringing noise fading in and out like waves crashing on a beach. As listened, he dimly became aware of how numb his face felt and the strange taste in his mouth. It was like… he struggled to make a connection. All his thoughts seemed to be disconnected at the moment. It was like copper. Unpleasant. Overwhelming. Felt almost as if it were drowning him. He coughed, an attempt to clear his airways, and gagged at the sudden shot of pain that lanced through his jaw when he moved it. It stinged almost, though it was a more sharp and penetrating then the pins and needles type of sting. He opened his eyes and blinked several times, trying to clear his blurry vision, but finding it not doing so. Maybe everything really did look like that… Where was he anyway? He couldn’t see anything clearly enough to identify it… Thinking back the last thing he could remember was… a fight. Fighting over… a window? … Lance had broken his window and had refused to fix it. THAT JERK. And thus, angry pained jaw grumbling. “ mrffmfn fmmph pnmmce…phuhh-phuhhh...”

"Well, still he's in no condition to be...greeted like that," Rosie said, now only half scolding, then she noticed Dash was awake. "Don't try to talk dear, you can't right now. Bunnie, be a dear and fetch something for him to drink please...and make sure you don't forget the straw."

The voices were still chattering along, and he still couldn't make heads or tails of them. One sounded ... familiar though. Vision still unclear... some of the blurry blobs moved around... were they people? He couldn't tell... Ears still ringing... jaw hurt like hell. Maybe if he went to sleep he could forget about the pain and everything would be normal when he woke up. ... maybe he was dreaming now? That'd explain everything, though he'd never had a dream that hurt quite so much or made so little sense. So instead he just covered his eyes and groaned. Maybe everything would go away.

The wolf's brow arched and he sniffed slightly in indignation. "That rabbit dame threw me through the window. And then Dash expected me to clean it up. Like it was my fault. Feh," he pushed himself away from the wall and dropped his arms to his sides. "I started to walk off and the little jerk decided I needed a back full of spines. So I clobbered him for it. Like I said, self defense."

[dice=10] "HAP!" Lance yelled, quickly throwing his hands up defensively and managing to catch the beast before it could give his face another mauling. Holding it away by the scruff of the neck he frowned. "Yeah, sure, the jerk starts the fight, so that's perfect justification for siccing the cat on me. If I want your pus sy I'll ask for it on bread."[rand=3090910454639565466416144998510721970073451286312253466618216351]

"My intuition tells me that you're more than likely not in the right." She commented at Lance's reaction to her second feline seeking of the night. "You can either take your retribution like a man or-" She paused for a moment to think of a decent threat. There weren't many you could throw at a large wolf like Lance that would have much effect. A half-roboticized wolf was a different story. His mechanical parts had to work similar to most machines she'd worked with, at the very least. "- I'll attach magnets to you. Yes, that's what I'll do. And you won't like that very much, now will you?"

"Retribution for what exactly, huh? You're just using your $#@#ing 'intuition' as an excuse." he paused "... And why would I care about a magnet?" AND IT WAS THEN BUNNIE RETURNED WITH THE WATER. She shuffled over to Rosie and handed it and the straw over.

"You'll see exactly why... when I happen to find one." Alice replied. "Besides, you ASSUME you were in the right. Maybe this young lady had a perfect adiquate reason for tossing you through a window? Did such a possibility ever click inside your thick metal skull?" She caught a glimpse of Bunnie returing with Dash's drink. "Now that I think of it, I can just ask- Miss, what exactly WAS your reasoning for tossing mister Lance through a window?" The girl asked.

"Thick metal s--" he paused when he realized what she was referring to, his nose wrinkling into a sneer. "Cheap shot. %$#@ing cheap shot." Bunnie glanced over at Lance, screwing her mouth to the side. "The window wasn't on purpose. Let's just say the slob had the nerve to invade down south an got a flight to back to yankee country."

Alice, not being used to Bunnie's accent, or the slang that came with it, mistranslated what she had said... quite horribly, too. "... YOU TRESPASSED INTO THE SOUTHERN REGIONS OF MOBIUS? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" She screamed at the wolf. "How DARE you be ungrateful to this young woman! She was probably saving your life by throwing you back here!" Yeah... Alice totally didn't get it.

Bunnie just kinda... gave the girl a look of confusion, both ears perking up. "Ah--He--What? No! That ain't--" "Forget it. Scarcasm's lost on her. And I'm out of here," Lance gave Dinah a toss over at Alice, then abruptly turned and ducked out of the hut. "Hey!" Bunnie called. "And just where are ya'll goin'?!" "To sleep. I'm tired, I'm sore, and nobody said I have to put up with the bi-polar princess or her $@#@ing cat."

Bunnie's eyes set themselves half mast and she could feel her hackles start to rise. For a moment she wanted to run after him and give him a good deck right in the jaw and tie him back to the tree. But no. Not now. As long as he was out of her sight and not causing trouble she didn't want anything more to do with him at that moment. Screwing her mouth to one side she turned, letting off a huff and throwing her ears back behind her with one hand (They immediately sprang back into their normal position). "Nerve'a some folks..."

After what seemed forever, everything became... slightly less blurry. But that's like saying "salt water becomes slightly more drinkable." The whole world was still swimming and everyone in it sounded like they were underwater. Still, that one voice sounded oh so familiar, like... like... "Alishh?"

Alice nodded in agreement. "I know. He's so utterly disrespectful." @walter@ "EVENING!" Greeted a loud and small waterbug. "I brought Mr. Dash a remedy from back home to help him heal up (and be freed from bad luck)." He held up a bottle of a GREEN and thick beverage. Alice's eyes widened with disgust and curiousity. "... What is it?" @walter@ "It's pureed seaweed and seaslugs (and a few rabbit's feet for good luck). It helps you heal faster." The insect replied. "... Ew."
