At the moment Venice was staring at her with wide eyes. Both in thinking how utterly dumb she must have been after all his warnings, but also in that... he was proooobably going to get into trouble now.

@silvia@ Face sternly unreadable, Silvia mouthed a silent reply of "Oh", still continuing to cradle her companion closely.
After a period of continued silence, she finally gave an audible reply of, "Well, why don't you just... stay here, then."
Though, due to the fact that she then turned and began to walk off (Venice still protectively bundled up within her arms), it seemed more of a command than an offer.

Blink. "But I was thinking you could maybe... ... Ooookay." Despite having unwittingly ruined Venice's master plan, Leedz was still a generally compliant individual, and labored her way back onto the couch to wait for her hostess's return.

As the two walked off Venice felt his brow curving downward. He glanced up at the woman carrying him. "What are you going to do with her?"

@silvia@ Now that she was away from the strange beast, Silvia's expression softened from her earlier sternness to one betraying the confusion she was currently feeling.
"I don't know, Vennie," she replied before scrutinizing him, "... where did she really come from?"

"I don't know," the hybrid answered honestly. "But she did hit her head."

@silvia@ Another bout of frowning as she continued to walk down the hall, before turning to walk the other direction.
Pacing always helped with the thought processes, after all.
"Did she tell you the same story she told me?"

"Yeah," Venice nodded, "I didn't believe her though. I figured it was just because she hit her head hard or something."

@silvia@ Running her fingers through the beasts hair, Silvia continued to pace.
"... maybe so..."
She honestly didn't know what to think. It wasn't rare for Venice to bring strangers home, despite her scoldings, but these circumstances changes everything. After all, it wasn't everyday that glowing holes of light ripped through reality itself and whisked people away, after all, and it almost made the strange beast's story make some sort of sense.
Taking a deep breath, she made her way back to the room she'd just come from.

It's kind of surreal being on such big furniture. ... Actually this whole house is weird. I feel like I'm in some sort of giant land in an amusement park. Swinging her feet (which came nowhere near the floor), Leedz rocked on the couch until she heard the return of her companions. "Welcome back, we missed you~"

@silvia@ "... we?"
Oh yes, this wasn't helping with her earlier thoughts of this particular beast being a bit loopy, not one bit.

The pangolin waved a hand. "Just a saying I have to make people feel loved and welcome." Despite no instruction to do so, she hopped off the couch. "SO, any possibility I can get a lift to somewhere with a Chaos portal?"

@silvia@ "Well," Silvia began, idly stroking the beast still in her arms, "I... well, I don't know where we'd be able to find one of those... 'chaos' portals."
She eyed the pangolin, her face scrunching into an expression of confusion and concern. "How do you know it's safe to go through them in the first place?"

"I used to go through them all the time," Leedz explained. "I was looking for a... friend of mine, and my roommate suggested he might have gotten pulled into Sol during the dimensional instability, so I did some portal hopping to search for him."

@silvia@ "... I... see." The idle stroking of the hedgemink's fur was slightly more intense now, her expression still one of concerned confusion.
"I... don't know if I'd be able to help you, but maybe someone else may..."
She bit her lip in thought.
What was she going to do with this strange best?

More intense stroking, meaning slightly uncomfortable. Twitching his nose, the hybrid looked up toward the woman holding him. "Silvie?"

@silvia@ Jarred from her thoughts by the beast calling her name, Silvia glanced down at the hedge-mink in her arms. With a frown, she shifted her grip, no longer petting Venice, but instead leaning in to give him a quick peck on the forehead.
Shifting her attention back to the pangolin... she frowned again.
"... alright, lets go then. Maybe we can find someone who can... help you."
