Lower Mobius...an underground haven deep under the dark and evil city of Robotropolis. Perhaps it was built as a fallback spot for Mobotropolis, like Knothole was, but unlike Knothole, it was built to mimic a mini Mobotropolis, or at least its trying to be. You see, since they're underground, how can they survive? Well, there's a giant light generator above that gives off life energy for the people to survive. It used to be on the verge to die, but thanks to a piece of a Power Rock from the Knothole FF, the city can survive for a good long time. Too bad it didn't dwell well for a couple of folks. Griff was a bit depressed as he was fiddling a small battery while walking in the park. His whole Freedom Fighter team was starting to decrease in numbers. Honey the Cat complained that Griff wasn't making more missions to take down Robotnik, so she, Mighty, and Scorra left. It wasn't that he was afraid...well maybe he was. He usually made missions that involved rescuing prisoners, and maybe take down a plant or two if things up there seemed to get a little suspicious. But Griff just was afraid to that getting involved too much would jeopardize his people. But maybe Honey was right, maybe he was a coward. Maybe she never said it, but he thinks he can see that in her eyes. It just proved it when he once stole the Knothole FF's Power Rock without asking first. Karma nearly doomed them because of that. And he wasn't sure, but he doesn't remember if Honey, Mighty, and Scorra said goodbye. Griff was thinking of going to Knothole to get a goodbye, and apologize for whatever made them leave. He sat on a bench and pondered these sad thought some more. He didn't care for the battery as it fell off his hands.

Griff, however, didn't sit alone for long, as another member of the village wandered over to him at a slow, but deliberate pace, eventually arriving to stand directly before him. The blue-lavender echidna girl seemed almost sleepy in her demeanor, holding out something square and wrapped in fabric to the goat, as if it were a gift. "You can have this sandwich. I tried to cook something earlier but it burnt. So I made sandwiches. ... This is one of them. ... and... uhm... you can have it. If you want. It's not burnt."

Slowly out of his depressed funk, Griff lifted his head and noticed the echidna girl, and then the sandwich she's giving him. Hearing how hard she tried to cook, probably for everyone but still, just made Griff crack a smile. "heh heh...um...Thanks, Lilli. I really appreciate this." he sincerely answered as he gently took the sandwich. It was always great that Lilli was mostly there, even if she wasn't attended to, when he was depressed. "Um...what was the occasion for the sandwiches?"

Sandwich now taken, Lilli sat down into the empty space next to Griff on the bench empty-handed, shrugging slightly after a moment of pondering his question. "No occasion. I think I'm out of food now though." There was a moment of silence before she spoke again. " What's new, borrowed, and blue?"

"Um...the sky maybe?" Now that he thought about, wouldn't he do to see the sky everyday. Though he knew he shouldn't answer that. Lilli had a moment of saying random things out of the blue. "Lilli, you think things have been so quiet after Mighty, Honey, and Scorra left?"

Lilli hummed a bit to herself, considering first Griff's answer. Her tendency to analyze things often kept her from thinking of more then one thing at a time. " The sky isn't borrowed, is it?" That taken care of, she moved onto the Griff's question regarding the travlers. "Yes." And then, after another moment... " I made them sandwiches too but then I remembered they weren't here."

With a smirk, Griff stood off his seat, and offered a hand for Lilli. "Well they won't go to waste. I'm thinking of heading to Knothole to say goodbye. You and your sandwiches in?"

After a moment of pondering (as always), Lilli nodded. "Okay," she replied as she more or less fell off of the bench to her feet. "I'll go make more sandwiches."

Laughing, Griff helped her keep steady when she fell. "Alright...meet me by the hover car. I'll go set it up."

"Okay, I'll meet you after I make more sandwiches." And with that she was off.

"Hey," a voice nearby spoke out suddenly after the echidna girl at left. "Mind if I tag along?" If Griff would turn to look he'd notice Coconuts hanging upside down from a tree, fiddling around with a piece of string between his fingers.

Ah yes, the resident Robian; the resident grumpy chimp that is. "I don't see why not, but are you sure you wanna come along?" there was a glint of mischievous glint in his eyes. "The Great Forest is full a lot of bugs that run wiiiiild, covered in nasty dirt too. So much dirt, even the robots feel it." Its not that he didn't want Coco to come; the more the merrier. But it was just fun toying with the bot.

The robian flinched a bit, his face twisting in aggravation. "I live in a freakin hole in the ground and youse trying to tell me a forest in the open air is woise?"

"Fine then," Griff shrugged as he turned and walked off. "Catch robo-ebola then. I heard its fatal."

Coconuts paused for a moment. A moment later there was a rustling of leaves as he jumped down and followed after Griff, still fiddling with his cat's cradle string. "... What the hell is ebola anyway?"

Oh that sinister smile. It just can't be good. (Timeskip. A few minutes later, along with descriptions rotted metal skin, loss of robo fluid, electronic gore...) "And that my friend is the beauty of the robo-ebola." Griff finished as they reached in top of a rocky hil in front of the village. "Hey guys! Just getting my ride." A ram Mobian gulped, twisting a towel. "Well, we just found out...um...it seems Honey and those who went with her...um....took the car." "......." Lights are on but nobody home for the moment.

Coconuts meanwhile looked a bit shaken over the goat's description and was furiously working at his cat's cradle. " ... Youse can't catch that from a forest though..."

Coco looked up. "Huh?"

The ram gulped, "Well, we just found out, sir. Even if we saw atempting it, you know her...and her fury, s-sir." Griff roughly massaged his temples. "Argh, I can't believe they did that!...Well...what about the spare?" "We still have, but you haven't finished tuning the engines." "Oh right..." sighing, Griff marched past the ram. "That was my favorite car, too."

"Argh! Honey took the car! We'll have to use the spare, and you know how much that thing stalls!" Griff walked over to a rocky wall with a old but small hanger door, and typed on a small security console.

"Oh." pause. "That sucks." ... He went back to focusing on his cat's cradle.

The small doors lift open, revealing a hover car like his main, only this one had some rusts, and a few bangs. "-sigh-...This is so not gonna be fun." Griff muttered as he cracked his knuckles and approached the car.
